Archos Video AV320 Battery Installation Guide

The instructions below come with no warranty or guarantee, proper or improper assembly or use of excessive force may result in damage to the parts involved or to your PDA/Mp3 Player. By utilizing these instructions, you agree to hold Laptops For Less blameless and unaccountable for damages or problems caused by use of these instructions. These instruction require a moderate level of technical ability and proficiency in the use of hand tools, as well as a general understanding of electronic components. Buyer assumes full responsibility for the installation of this replacement battery.

Step 1:

Using the included Philips screwdriver remove the single screw from the battery cover located on the side of the PDA.

 

 Step 2:

With the screw removed, slide the battery cover away from the PDA and remove from the unit.

Step 3:

Slightly tap the PDA in the palm of your hand to loosen the battery. Enough of the battery should slide out to allow you to grab onto it with your fingers and pull it out the rest of the way.

Install the new battery by sliding it into the compartment. Please pay attention to have the original battery orientation (label down, minus towards battery compartment opening). Reapply the battery compartment cover and put back the screw.

Your new battery will need a minimum of three hours of charging before first use.
