Clie Battery Installation Guide

The instructions below come with no warranty or guarantee, improper assembly or use of excessive force may result in damage to the parts involved or to your PDA/Mp3 Player. By utilizing these instructions, you agree to hold Laptops For Less blameless and unaccountable for damages or problems caused by use of these instructions. These instruction require a moderate level of technical ability and proficiency in the use of hand tools, as well as a general understanding of electronic components. Buyer assumes full responsibility for the installation of this replacement battery.

Step 1:

Using a screwdriver, remove the single screw from the battery compartment.

 

 Step 2:

Once the battery compartment cover is removed, lift the battery from its compartment by pulling on the grey fabric pull-tab. The battery should still be connected by its power cord.

 

 Step 3:

Using your finger, carefully pull on the battery power cable to remove it from its socket. The battery should now be free of the PDA.

 

 Step 4:

To insert the new battery, line up the power cable connector with the power socket. Use the tip of a screwdriver to push the connector into the socket. Apply the new battery with the battery compartment. Please pay attention to have the original orientation (connector towards the top of the Clie).

Snap on the battery compartment cover and put back the single screw.

Your new battery will need a minimum of three hours of charging before first use.
