Audiovox Thera Pocket PC Battery Installation Guide

The instructions below come with no warranty or guarantee, proper or improper assembly or use of excessive force may result in damage to the parts involved or to your PDA/Mp3 Player. By utilizing these instructions, you agree to hold Laptops For Less blameless and unaccountable for damages or problems caused by use of these instructions. These instruction require a moderate level of technical ability and proficiency in the use of hand tools, as well as a general understanding of electronic components. Buyer assumes full responsibility for the installation of this replacement battery.

Step 1:

Using the included phillips screwdriver remove the four screws from the back case cover.

 

 Step 2:

Remove the plastic stipping from the side of the PDA by pushing them towards the top of the PDA. Repeat this process on the other side of the unit.

Step 3:

Use the included phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws located underneath the plastic stripping.

Step 4:

Starting at the top of the unit, carefully unsnap the back case cover. When you pull the cover away from the unit the battery connector will disconnect and the battery will remain within the back case cover. The back case cover should still be attached to the unit by a small power cord.

Step 5:

Remove the old battery from the case. Attach the new battery by positioning the connector over the socket. Push down on the connector and it should snap into the socket. Replace the back case cover...be sure the battery fits within its compartment on the back case.

Replace the two screws on the side of the case and reattach the plastic stipping. Put back the four screws on the back case cover.

Your new battery will need a minimum of three hours of charging before first use.
