These instruction require a moderate level of technical ability and proficiency in the use of hand tools, as well as a general understanding of electronic components. Step 1:

Begin by removing the rubber screw covers from the back of the case. Once they are removed, use the included phillips screwdriver to unscrew the four screws from the case. The case should easily separate from the player revealing the battery compartment.

Step 2:

Using your finger or the tip of the screwdriver, gently lift the battery away from the case. The battery is held to the case by just a small amount of glue. The battery should still be attached by its power cable. Remove the power cable by gently pulling on the connector with your finger tips. Do not pull on the cord itself as the cord is very delicate and may break.

Step 3:

Please pay attention to have the original orientation (power cable towards the top of the player). Connect the power cable of the new battery by positioning it over the power socket, pushing it in. Apply the new battery to the original glue spots within the battery compartment.

Snap on the cover, put back the four screws and reapply the rubber screw covers.

Your new battery will need a minimum of three hours of charging before first use.
