Siemens SX56 Battery Installation Guide

The instructions below come with no warranty or guarantee, proper or improper assembly or use of excessive force may result in damage to the parts involved or to your PDA/Mp3 Player. By utilizing these instructions, you agree to hold Laptops For Less blameless and unaccountable for damages or problems caused by use of these instructions. These instruction require a moderate level of technical ability and proficiency in the use of hand tools, as well as a general understanding of electronic components. Buyer assumes full responsibility for the installation of this replacement battery.

Step 1:

Using the included flat-head screwdriver remove the two screws from the top of the back case cover (near the antennae).

 

 Step 2:

Using the included T-5 Torx wrench, unscrew the two remaining screws at the bottom of the back case cover.

Step 3:

Using your finger, carefully pry open the back case cover. The back case cover should unsnap from the rest of the PDA.

 

 Step 4:

Using your finger or the tip of the screwdriver, carefully unglue the battery from its compartment. You can now remove the battery from the PDA.

 

 Step 5:

Please pay attention to keep the original orientation of the battery. Apply the new battery to the original glue spots within the battery compartment. Be sure the battery fits within the guide brackets.

Snap on the cover and put back the four screws.

Your new battery will need a minimum of three hours of charging before first use.
